I can't really complain about this one except that I was a little creeped out. I sat down next to a man who was on the phone. I was lucky enough to catch the part of the conversation where he was talking about how he got out of jail the previous day. Off to a great start. As I sit there awkwardly, debating in my head whether or not I want to get up and move, he starts talking to me. He said hi and asked if I thought it was cold enough outside. I think I nodded and pretended like I was deep in thought. I wish I had put my headphones on or pulled out my book. He then proceeded to ask me if I had anyone to keep me warm. I had to answer no because my boyfriend is 700 miles away and not currently keeping me warm. After I said no, which was stupid, he asked if he could keep me warm. He even pulled out his business card and offered me one. I politely said no. His phone kept ringing so he was a bit distracted but at some point I remember him saying to me "once you go black you never go back". Thanks for the information buddy. He made a comment on my scarf and told me he was Muslim and that he spoke Arabic (because my scarf is of that style) and asked if I spoke any other languages. Quite a strange question to get a girl. haha. He was very nice, and I couldn't help but smile. I wish people were more friendly, because it would make this encounter less creepy, but no harm done. And I left at my stop with no problems.
